There are no easy tables in this event. All the players have worked hard to make it to day two and must have some skill and some luck to get here.
Sirous Jamshidi, Anthony Hill, Paul Darden, & Wade Woelfel
There are some tables, however, that seem tougher than most, just based on the poker talent seated there. Table 31 is one of those tables. Seated there are:
Sirous Jamshidi - $1.7 million lifetime
Anthony Hill - over $360k lifetime
Paul Darden - 1 WSOP bracelet, 1 WPT title, over $2 million lifetime
Wade Woelfel - over $300k lifetime
Brett Richey - over $860k lifetime
Jason Young - 1 WSOP bracelet, over $750k lifetime
Tables like this don't usually create fireworks -- more like a long slow burn.
Brett Richey & Jason Young
Jason Young (mp) and Paul Darden (button) were just in a hand. On the flop of 7 5 2 with two hearts, Jason bet 1,200 and Paul called.
Turn was a 6 and put two diamonds on the board. Jason checked out Paul's remaining stack, then fired 2,125. Paul gave it some thought, then let it go.
