$200 + $30 Big Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
Mickael Morgousky just sent the entire final table to the morgue and emerged as the Event 26 winner to the tune of $43,363. The final six fell in rapid succession as Mickael and the boys finally got down to business.
"I liked all the guys at the final table...all were gentlemen and great players" said Morgousky.
A key hand to Mikael's victory occurred after dinner when he made a move with K-10 and found himself way behind against Opponent's K-K. After a 10 on the flop and another 10 on the river, MM went from 400,000 to 850,000 and started cruising.
This event played side by side in The Event Center next to the 2012 Borgata Winter Poker Open Championship and finished up around 5:30 AM.
The field was filled with pros and amateurs, young guns and seasoned veterans all vying for a chunk of the massive $203,200 Total Buy-In. Two pros that played and made the cash were Allen Kessler (88th / $414) and Miami John Cernuto (36th / $769). Other familiar faces included Chris Leong, Elia Ahmadian, Tony Cousineau, Cathy Dever, Adam Agaev, Steve Ryan, and Joe Boatwright.
And congratulations to the last woman standing, Borgata regular Grace Sun (Merrick, NY) who finished (25th / $887).
The full stampede of 1,016 entries kicked things off at 11AM with a big stack of 20,000. Many took advantage of the Re-entry through the first eight levels. Of course Borgata once again reached the $100,000 guarantee - in fact they doubled it!
"I fired one bullet" said our Champion, Mickael referring to his 1 re-entry bid. In addition to this $43,363 score, Mickael also took 4th Place in the 2010 Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship Event for over $85,000.
It's also Mickael's fourth cash of this series.
