Bruce Bardin & Jose Lavezzary
Jose Lavezzary (Albany, NY) was so short he was forced in with only 9-2. Jose was facing two other players in the pot, Q-J and A-6.
Unfortunately for Jose he missed everything and the player with A-6 ended up with three sixes.
Board: 6-3-J-6-7.
Bruce and Jose are poker pals back in Albany where they play for the Albany Poker League. In fact, Jose had the custom jacket to prove it.
"Four of us played today...we try to make it up to Borgata every year for this tournament" said Bruce.
Sounds like Jose is the Phil Ivey of the league.
Whenever he walks in everybody shouts "Jose" at the same time.
Bardin missed the cash by 20, finishing 120th.
Blinds are 40,000 / 80,000 with 5,000 antes.
Jose Laverzzary finished in 18th Place earning $1,084.
