$400 + $50 Deep Stack No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)
In a span of just a few hands, Eric Hall (Staten Island, NY) goes from one of the big stacks to busting in 19th place on just two hands.
First against Tammy Wagner (North Lawrence, OH) he flops a full house and loses 725k.
Hall: 7♥ 7♠
Wagner: K♥ Q♥
Flop: 2♦ 2♣ 7♣ (Hall full house, 99% favorite)
Turn: Q♦ (Wagner 95% underdog)
River: Q♠
Wagner goes perfect-perfect and hits a higher full house. The table erupts and quickly explains that on the previous hand Wagner went runner, runner queens on the turn and river to stay alive (although she only need one queen to win the hand).
"That's why I love this game," says a gitty Wagner.
Hall's second "run bad" come when George Medrano cracks pocket aces and takes Hall's final 300k.
Hall: A♠ A♥
Medrano: J♣ J♥
Flop: 9♣ 10♣ 8♣ (Medrano flops OE straight flush draw)
Turn: 5♣ (Medrano flush, Hall drawing dead)
River 4♦
Hall explodes from the table and can't believe he's luck. "Flop a full house and aces cracked, how can it be any worse," he says while seething. He unbelievably goes from one million chips to the rail in 10 minutes.
Hall takes home $1,178 for his 19th place finish as the remaining players are drawing for their final two table seats.
Gorilla,
