Event 3: 6th Place - Cernuto

$350 + $50 Seven Card Stud

"Miami" John Cernuto (Las Vegas, NV)
$2,008

Cernuto, the three time WSOP bracelet holder, struggled to get anything going throughout the tournament, but still managed another final table to his impressive resume.  "I couldn't get on track," he said.  "I always seemed to be running into a hand and I was never comfortable. It was awkward."

Cernuto's sends his last 50k in chips to chip leader Rob Gray who had split aces and hit two pairs on sixth street.  Cerunto's kings up are second best and after filling out his paper work jumps right into the PLO tournament which he's already registered for.

This is the 256th cash of Cernuto's career that includes 38 titles and $4.4 million in tournament earnings.  Meanwhile, Gray now has more than 1/3 of the chips in play and is up to 300k as five players remain.

Miami "John" Cernuto takes home $2,008 for his 6th place finish.
