$500 + $60 Six-Max No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)
The Borgata Leaderboard Contest is always a topic of conversation especially for those in the running for prizes including entry into the Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship event for the winner.
Mike Linster (Island Park, NY), who's currently 4th in the standings, is always checking for leaderboard updates and keeping an eye on points leader Will Failla (Smithtown, NY) who's sitting one table over.
As play resumes with re-entry now closed, Linster is in a hand where he "accidentally" 3-bet min raises.
On a 10 3 2 flop Linster reraises all in for 17k. The initial bettor tanks and Linster says, "fold, your three is no good here." After a few moments the opponent calls and tables pocket 9s.
Linster quickly shows pocket 2s for a set of ducks which hold and gives Linster the double-up. His opponent simply shakes his head as he's left with 2k.
"It was completely an accident, the chips stuck together," says Linster who only wanted to call, adding, "I'm never raising with deuces there."
