Gene Santora (Long Island, NY)
Gene Santora had two jade good luck charms that brought him to the final table finishing 8th out of 852 entries.
Luck ran out on his final hand when his A-8 ran into A-J of Wade Woelfel. Both guys flopped an ace but Gene failed to improve.
"Got my buy in for the Championship" exclaimed Gene. He implemented a similar strategy in past Opens.
Jerman sweated his friend from the rail (and helped me with a couple hand reports).
Gene Santora finished in 8th Place earning $6,025.
