Three-handed play starts with everyone relatively even in chips, but Pacheco becomes the short stack. He's all in with two pairs 5s 4s and a low draw against Mark Sykes who flops a set of aces. Pacheco whiffs the turn and river and is on the rail.
"If it wasn't for nut-nut I would've been out in 9th place," says Pacheco. The retired plant supervisor stayed alive on the first hand of the day when hit the nut flush and nut low on the river when he was all in.
David Pacheco's third place finish earns him $4,516.
Sykes and Luigi Grilla begin heads up play even in chips.
